You want to see who's out right now, but you don't want everyone to know where you are all the time? That's exactly what Lesgoo is for.
Why so many people turn on Ghost Mode
Snap Map in Snapchat shows friends who share their location on a map. That's handy for seeing who's nearby. But plenty of people don't want their location running in the background, so they switch on Ghost Mode. Then nobody sees them at all.
The problem: there are usually just two settings. Either all your friends see you, or nobody does. What's missing is something in between: “I'm out right now, who's coming?”
How sharing where you are works on Lesgoo
On Lesgoo your location is invisible by default. You only share it when you check in, and only as roughly as you like.
- Check in. You head out and tap Spontaneous. A photo, your vibe (Bar, Club, Coffee, Sports, Chill or Game night) and the neighborhood. The photo is optional.
- Pick who sees it. All friends, a group like “Uni” or just a few people. Plus how long it stays visible.
- Your friends see it. In the feed and on the map, as a neighborhood. Anyone who's up for it taps Lesgoo!, and you see who's coming.
- It ends by itself. Your check-in disappears at the time you picked, after 18 hours at most. A check-in photo is gone after 24 hours.

Technically, that means: Lesgoo only asks for your location while you're using the app, and only to work out your neighborhood. Our server only gets the name of the neighborhood, never your coordinates. You can also pick the neighborhood yourself or leave the place out entirely.
What Lesgoo isn't
Lesgoo isn't a Snapchat replacement. There are no stories, no streaks and no map full of strangers. You only see people from your friends and groups. And Lesgoo doesn't show a live position, it shows a check-in: “I'm out, come by.”
