Concerts
Concerts with friends, without the ticket chaos
Who already has a ticket? Who's buying for whom? And where are we meeting outside the venue? With Lesgoo it's all in one place, not buried in 80 group chat messages.
Why concerts get so messy in the group chat
The tour gets announced and the group chat lights up: “Who's in?” A few say yes right away, others say “maybe”. Then presale starts, one person buys, two already bought their own, and someone's waiting for payday. In the end nobody knows who has a ticket and who still owes whom.
- The ticket status gets lost. Who has one, who still needs one? It's somewhere way up in the chat.
- One person pays upfront. And then has to chase everyone for the money.
- On the night, there's no signal. “Where are you?” arrives once the show has already started.
How to plan a concert in Lesgoo
- Pick the concert. Under Plan, choose the Concert vibe and search for the band or venue under “Which concert?”. Not listed yet? Add it yourself in a few seconds. The day, venue, doors and start time are then set, nothing to vote on.
- Invite friends. Everyone answers Lesgoo!, Maybe or Not today. Friends without the app can say yes as a guest via a link.
- Everyone sets their ticket status. Separate from saying yes, and only for themselves. More on that below.
- One person buys for everyone, if you like. Tap “I'll buy for everyone” and set a deadline. Anyone who wants in picks “Get me one too” before then.
- Set a meeting point. For example “left of the merch stand”. It's right there in the plan for everyone.
Sorting out tickets as a group
The plan shows where everyone stands with their ticket, so you can see at a glance how many of you are sorted.
| Ticket status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Got my ticket | You already have yours. |
| Need one | You're still looking. Your group gets a heads-up that you still need one. |
| Get me one too | Someone's buying for everyone and you're in. Once you've paid, you tick that off yourself. |
| Have a spare | You've got one too many. Pass it on at face value and change the name with the ticket provider. |
If your ticket is in Apple Wallet, you can tick that too. It's just a note for you and your group: Lesgoo doesn't read your tickets and doesn't store ticket files or codes.
And the money? Sort it out the way you always do, cash or bank transfer. Lesgoo only shows who has already paid, and everyone ticks that off for themselves.
On the day
At meeting time your plan goes live. Before doors, Lesgoo reminds you on your lock screen: “Ticket in Wallet ready?” After that it shows your meeting point, so you find each other even when there's barely any signal inside.
During the show you can write the setlist together. It stays covered, so nobody gets spoiled who still has the tour ahead of them. And when it's all over: EARS RINGING.
Going to a concert on the spur of the moment
Not every concert is planned weeks ahead. If you go spontaneously, check in with the Concert vibe and pick tonight's show in your city under “Who are you seeing?”. Then Lesgoo asks: Tickets left?
- Yes: Your friends get something like “Lea is at Nova Kid · Uebel & Gefährlich. Tickets at the door – you in?”
- Sold out: Instead of “come join”, they get “Meet up after?”. Anyone without a ticket simply picks “After the show” as their arrival time.
Only friends who said yes with Lesgoo! see your meeting point. By the way, the band names here are made up.
Concert page and “My concerts”
Every concert has its own page with the details for the day, like doors, support act, curfew and bag rules. Only people who are going or were there can change or confirm them. You also see which of your friends are going, but never strangers and no attendance numbers.
After the show, tap “I was there”. It then goes into My concerts, your own list. Only you can see it.
What Lesgoo doesn't do
- No ticket sales. You buy tickets as usual from the promoter or ticket provider.
- No payments. No prices, no paying in the app, no money going through Lesgoo.
- Never your spot. Your friends see the venue, but only if you picked a concert yourself. Nobody sees where you are inside.
Quick questions
Can I buy concert tickets through Lesgoo?
No. Lesgoo doesn't sell tickets or handle payments. In Lesgoo you just keep track of who has a ticket and who needs one.
What if the concert is sold out?
Anyone still looking sets “Need one”, and anyone with an extra sets “Have a spare”. Otherwise, you just meet up after the show.
Can strangers see that I'm at a concert?
No. Like every check-in, you choose which friends see it. There are no public lists of who's at a concert.
When is Lesgoo coming?
